Inauguration of Delhi Public School Gorakhpur
IVPS- Glimps of DPS Inauguration
On April 9, 2023, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the Delhi Public School (DPS) in Gorakhpur.
The new school is located in Maniram, Gorakhpur, and is spread over 10 acres of land.
The school has a capacity of 2,000 students and will offer classes from nursery to class XII.
The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and will follow the new National Education Policy (NEP).
Adityanath, while inaugurating the school, said that it would provide quality education to the children of Gorakhpur and other nearby districts.
He also said that the school would help to promote the spirit of nationalism and patriotism among the students.
The Chief Minister also urged the students to make the most of the opportunities that the school would provide them.
The inauguration of DPS Gorakhpur is a significant event for the city. It will provide quality education to the children of Gorakhpur and other nearby districts. It will also help to promote the spirit of nationalism and patriotism among the students. I am sure that the school will play a major role in shaping the future of Gorakhpur and the region.

The New Year ushered in the good news for the IVPians as the school was presented another award for being the best Public School in Primary and Secondary Education in Delhi, NCR region. This is the third award that the school has received in the field of education.
The prestigious award was received by the school Principal Mrs. Shikha Sharma, presented by the Royal Brands in association with “Delhi Aaj Tak” by honourable Union Minister, Govt. of India, Mr. Kapil Sibal in a glittering ceremony held at Hotel Radisson Blu, New Delhi.
